That's when the U.S. Postal Service will honour the late husband and wife team of Charles and Ray Eames with a commemorative stamp.
Considered to be America's top modern designers their work was heavily influenced by Scandinavian designers.

And while most of the native art galleries are located in the tony south Granville area and in Yaletown and Gastown one has opted for a funky Main Street location.
It has some pretty amazing art including by the late Norval Morrisseau, hailed as one of the greatest native artists ever.
